Welcome to our inclusive summer camp,
where children with disabilities find joy, growth, and friendship through sports and fun.
Camp date: June 23rd- June 27th, June 30th - July 3rd
What is Ability Sports Camp?
ASCC is a sports camp that is designed by Occupational and Physical Therapists to meet the needs of children who are unable to participate in “traditional” sports camps. Our main goal is for the campers to HAVE FUN! We also aim to maintain and/or increase the campers’ motor development, healthy living, and social participation. Staff members are equipped with necessary clinical skills and evidenced-based information to assist the campers in modified sports participation.
Our Campers
- Entering Kindergarten- 3rd grade in the upcoming school year.
- ADHD, Autism spectrum disorder, learning disabilities, and other special needs (physician’s referral is NOT REQUIRED to join this camp as we are not providing therapy)
- Independent in/with
- Toileting/toilet hygiene
- Dressing
- Eating/Drinking
- Ambulation
- Self-advocating
- Consistently following a minimum of one-step directives
