Promote socialization, goal setting, attention/focus, and following multi-step directives within a team setting.
Who are ASCC athletes?
We believe that camp is an invaluable experience for all campers and we strive to welcome as many campers as possible. We are an inclusive and affirming camp and we do not discriminate based on race, national origin or church affiliation. ASCC’s target demographic is children between the grades of Kindergarten and 3rd grade with autism spectrum disorders, ADHD, learning disabilities, and other special needs.

What are the essential functions for an ASCC athlete?
Campers must be able to:
Walk up to 3 miles per day on grass, sand, gravel, and/or asphalt.
Carry a small backpack with essentials for activities.
Able to self-advocate for basic needs verbally and/or non-verbally (i.e. “I’m thirsty” or using an Augmentative and Alternative Communication device)
Manage their own personal hygiene independently (including use of bathroom, changing clothes, and showering) or with minimal counselor assistance (i.e. shoe tying).
Able to follow simple directions.
Refrain from harming self and others.
Do I need to provide lunch?
Lunch will not be provided; however, a snack and water will be provided every day.
- If your camper requires dietary accommodations, please advise us of those needs prior to arrival at camp by including these needs on the camper registration forms so that we can best serve and support our campers.
What is your cancellation/refund policy?
Cancellations made after June 1st, 2025 will not receive a refund.
What does my camper need to bring to camp?
Campers will require clothes appropriate for outdoor activity, a change of clean clothes, water, sneakers, and a small towel.
When are the program check-in and pick-up times?
Daily check-in’s start at 8:30 AM. Pick up time is at 12:30 PM. Please arrive 10-15 minutes early for the check-out process
